'Wreck-It Ralph' now got $48M Box-Office Score

Wreck-It Ralph

Disney's "Wreck-it Ralph," an animated homage to classic video games, got off a hot start at the box office Friday and is on its way to a $48 million weekend.

The family film from Disney Animation took in $13.4 million from 3,752 screens in its first day of release. That's a roughly $3,570 per-screen average and puts "Wreck-it Ralph" on pace to match the opening weekend of Disney Animation's last film, "Tangled." That film debuted at $48 million in November 2010 and went on to make $200 million domestically.

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Hotel Transylvania 2012, movie, animated movie

I can't wait to watch this animated movie. It's about Dracula played by Adam Sandler, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world. He goes into overprotective mode when a human boy Jonathan (Andy Samberg) discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen-aged daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez).

Hotel Transylvania is Dracula's lavish five-stake resort, where monsters can live and spend time and to be the monsters outght to be without humans to bother them.

On Mavis' 118th birthday, Dracula invited some of the world's most famous monsters, Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem, but his world could come crashing down when a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and takes a shine to Mavis.

Safe (2012) - Jason Statham

Safe (2012), Jason Statham

A former elite agent played by Jason Statham takes on a mission to rescue a  Chinese girl named Mei (Catherine Chan) who has been abducted by the Triads, then use a highly desired safe combination to outwit the Russian Mafia, corrupt NYC officials, and the Triads themselves.

Director:
Boaz Yakin

Writer:
Boaz Yakin

Actors/Actress:
Jason Statham, Catherine Chan and Chris Sarandon

Review:

It has a simple plot which is very common for an action film like this. I like the action scenes, it's high impact and Statham displays speed and power. It is a signature Statham movie full of fist fights, gun fights, explosions, and chases.
